Wanted: iOS/IOS/Android Engineer

The Role

AukSunLMS’s IOS/Android app needs to be developed and placed on Apple / Google platforms. You’ll drive the AukSunLMS experience on IOS/Android devices, building out cutting-edge features accessible to millions of users around the world.

Wanted: Data Scientist

We are is looking for an experienced, technically proficient, and highly entrepreneurial individual to work with our product and engineering teams and develop actionable, data-driven insights to support our user experience, product quality, and revenue growth efforts.

We’re a small team poised to make a huge impact, developing the most desirable brand in education. We’re developing innovative, simple-to-use study tools that help millions of students learn globally.

We will have a LOT of data to harness. Study activity, performance, clickstream, demographic, subscriber data…you name it. And we have huge opportunities to leverage this data to improve engagement (active user growth), product quality, educational effectiveness (how users learn), and also grow our paid subscriber base.

In this very hands-on role, you’ll make this happen at both a conceptual and execution level. You’ll be the first data person at AukSunLMS that’s on its way to serving students and teachers across the globe.

The Role

• Building and using lightweight tools (internal and 3rd-party) to generate data insights.
• Writing SQL queries, building dashboards, funnels, segmentation, tracking, etc.
• Analyzing and deeply understanding key user segments and their engagement patterns.

• Communicating and evangelizing data insights with the team.

Wanted: Director of Marketing

We want an intuitive, visionary person well connected in the education sector. You’d be AukSunLMS’s first marketing hire.

The opportunity is enormous, as are the ambitions of AukSunLMS: to provide learning tools used by every learner, every day in every country in the world. You would build an internal marketing team, help find new markets for growth – both from a user segmentation perspective as well as internationally, manage external agencies and define the marketing strategy to help AukSunLMS reach its goals. This role can be as big as the person who’s in it.

The Role

• Build and lead marketing team to help AukSunLMS reach its growth goals
• Develop website content and directing funnel flows
• Utilize customer data, analytics, test results, creative and messaging to reach new target audiences.
• Manage budgets and performance of growth. Lead all marketing programs including:
• Communications/PR – manage agency as appropriate
• Branding – manage agency as appropriate

• Hands-on. You’re comfortable directing and managing a team but equally willing to jump in if that’s what’s required. Nimble, agile and dynamic. This can’t be about your title or role. It has to be about rolling up your sleeves and getting marketing done.

Wanted: Director of People Operations (HR)

As Director of People Operations at AukSunLMS, you will in many ways be the most important hire we make this year.  First, you will implement and lead key processes, policies and company norms that shape company culture in terms of team’s wellbeing, communication, professional growth, and satisfaction as we grow from 10 to 100 people, and beyond.  Second, in recruiting, you will have your hand on the single most impactful lever we have to grow our business.  Hiring the highest caliber people, who fit our company culture, will be crucial in setting our company up for short-term and long-term success.

AukSunLMS will be an indispensable utility used daily by millions of students and teachers around the globe. If our site goes down, even just for a few minutes, the pain will be felt intensely. Speed is crucial, and downtime is not an option as we grow. These are challenges you will face on day one at AukSunLMS.

We have a small, nimble team relative to AukSunLMS’s traffic and impact, so you’ll immediately shoulder loads of responsibility. You’ll be responsible for building and scaling high-availability server architecture for a worldwide presence. You will drive on projects like high-performance search, architecture scaling, automation, optimizing data storage, caching and server performance, among many other technical challenges on our externally hosted environment.

At AukSunLMS, you will work with cutting edge software and the latest advances in technologies and hardware. Much of our architecture will be based on open source and is itself novel technology offered in the spirit of F/OSS. Your code will overcome challenges that have never been tackled before.

As a Product Designer at AukSunLMS, you will be responsible for helping craft a world-class user experience. AukSunLMS is in the early stages of its growth in terms of our product and users. Soon enough millions of students will use AukSunLMS — your job will be to make that experience as simple, user-friendly and elegant as possible.

At AukSunLMS, you will be involved in every step of design – mapping user flows, creating mockups and designing high-fidelity UIs across our website and apps. You should be great at collaborating with engineers and product managers. • 4+ years of design experience at a consumer software company or startup
• A portfolio that highlights multiple projects

At AukSunLMS, you will be involved in every step of the product development process – analyzing metrics, owning a roadmap, working with engineers, designers and other product managers to define and deploy new features. You will help identify new areas for product expansion and growth by engaging with our customers directly – even in their classrooms. • 5+ years of consumer product management experience on web/mobile products

Wanted: User Support Associate

Millions of students and teachers will rely upon AukSunLMS, and equipping them to learn, teach, and have fun while doing so is at the core of what we do as a company. As a member of our User Operations team, you’ll ensure that all AukSunLMS users get their problems solved, questions answered and feedback heard. Externally, you’ll be the face of AukSunLMS as the first (and sometimes only!) member of our staff they interact with; internally, you’ll report back to the User Ops and Product teams on what our users are saying with the ultimate goal of getting new features built and improving the overall user experience.

 

The Role

• Respond to inbound questions, bug reports, feature requests, and product feedback from teachers and students who use the AukSunLMS website, iOS or Android apps — or a combination of all three
• Be the voice of AukSunLMS for anyone interacting with our website and relay their questions, concerns and suggestions back to the User Ops and Product teams
• Get technical! You don’t need to know how to write code, but should be excited to dig into bug reports and product feature requests, figure out what’s going on and tee that up for our engineering team to fix or improve
• Help us work better. You’ll write macros, suggest new workflows (or improvements to things we’re already doing) and point out what we can do as a team to save time and work together more closely

 

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years of support experience, ideally for a consumer-facing website or mobile app
• Creative problem-solving abilities and the desire to identify and fix all aspects of an issue, big or small

AukSunLMS is currently a small team and looking to scale to fifty plus, tackling ambitious projects that grow the product and business. • Supporting and driving core operational functions including forecasting and planning, revenue operations, sales, marketing, and key vendor relationships.

You’ll work directly with the leadership team to manage all aspects of our financial and operational functions and processes (see below). You’ll be responsible for deeply understanding the product and business, pushing for financial strength and excellence, and enabling the team with effective processes that support both quality execution and growth.
